Krups Nespresso Essenza XN2120AP w/Aeroccino

The Krups Nespresso Essenza XN2120AP is a compact coffee machine that has a lot of the specifications usually found on much more expensive appliances.

Its diminutive stature contains Krups’ patented extraction system, which guarantees up to 19 bar water pressure, the optimum level for pulling an exceptional espresso.

The spout looks a bit like an upside down clothes peg, but we prefer to see stainless steel spouts – much easier to clean. Despite being a smaller coffee machine the Krups Nespresso Essenza XN22120AP has a distinctive (if unorthodox) look, and the great tasting coffee it makes will quickly make you fond of it.

Krups have made this machine very easy to use. The process of making a coffee involves nothing more than a simple lifting of the latch, dropping in a capsule and pressing one of the two buttons on the front, for either a short or long coffee.

It uses Nespresso capsules, giving you consistently excellent coffee quickly and with little mess. The used capsule bin only holds 12 pods, though, so if you are going share this coffee machine, then you will have to empty it frequently (it’s worth remembering you can recycle Nespresso capsules!).

Along with the Krups Nespresso Essenza XN2120AP you also get an aeroccino. This will let you heat up milk and froth it, which is very helpful for cappuccino or latte drinkers – you could also use it for a hot chocolate too.
