Gaggia are well established as premium coffee machine makers. They’re latest item the Gaggia RI8161/40 is a great looking double spout coffee machine that comes in brushed metal with a traditional coffee frother.
It is moderately priced, for a coffee machine, but you do get value for money since the Gaggia RI8161/40 is very well kitted out, so you can quickly make a cup of coffee for you and a friend. Since the Gaggia RI8161/40 is a combi machine you can use the pods for a quick cup or if you want the full coffee making experience use ground coffee.
One of the troubles with Gaggia RI8161/40 is the lack of a bean grinder, for an authentic coffee some people enjoy the process, a bean grinder has to be bought separately if you select this coffee machine.
There have been a couple of issues with deliveries so we urge you double check that your coffee machine has arrived in full. Particularly the plastic insert to manage pressure since nobody needs splash-back when making a cup of coffee.
The Gaggia RI8161/40 has a nice look to it and very simple dial controls for minimal fuss in the morning. This coffee machine is laid out for quick use with simple flaps covering the removable water reservoir and compartment for coffee input there’s no reason to struggle to get you cuppa.
For the relatively low cost you get a very well made coffee machine with the Gaggia RI8161/40. If a quick coffee is what you’re all about and you occasionally want to make a process out of making your ideal espresso or cappuccino the Gaggia RI8161/40 is definitely a worthy choice.

The Gaggia RI8161/40 has an authentic milk frother that juts out at the side giving the coffee machine a quirky flair, but hinting at the more authentic side to coffee production.
