Overview

With no fuss or mess the Gaggia Brera is a coffee lovers fantasy machine, you will truly be setting yourself ahead of the curve of low budget coffee machines that produce a lower standard of beverage. The Gaggia Brera is for those of you who love a full-bodied, strong tasting coffee that really satisfies the palate.

The Gaggia Brera even has a strength button to help you truly get over that morning hurdle. It is also an efficient machine, complete with in-built bean grinder for minimal fuss, this device is airtight for maximum freshness. This grinder is ceramic so have no fear of a metallic taste being infused with your cup of coffee, only the freshest taste, alternatively, pre-ground coffee can still be serviced with the Gaggia Brera.

A swivel steamer will get your coffee to that right temperature and prepare the perfect cappuccino when you’re in the mood for a bit of preparation before enjoying your caffeinated beverages.

The adjustable coffee spout will mean that you can keep using your favourite cup since the Gaggia Brera is made to accustom any sized mug (within reason).

One great feature of the Gaggia Brera has to be the power management, after an hour without use, this coffee machine will power- down, reducing the electrical cost of keeping a coffee machine installed in your kitchen at home.

The verdict

For quality coffee you will not regret choosing the Gaggia Brera, it is in the mid to high price range, but if you are unwilling to go for the highest price machines, this is the best option. Capsule machines are currently at the highest trend of sales but for a classical and dependable machine you will not have gone wrong with the Gaggia Brera.

 Gaggia Brera

The Gaggia Brera comes with a ceramic bean grinder, so you don’t need to worry about getting a metallic taste in with your brew. However if you have a taste for pre-ground coffee beans then by all means you can use them too with the Gaggia Brera.

The power management on the Gaggia Brera makes it a most economical machine, powering down after an hour out of use. It also comes with a swivel steamer to get you those cappuccinos as and when you need them.

User Reviews

"A very good machine for anybody new to bean to coffee machines simple to use and clean not to many functions to bewilder the user, up and running in 15 minutes from unpacking. And of course great tasting coffee brewed to perfection "

Andrew Higgins 15 January 2012

"Me and my husband are very pleased with this Gaggia coffee maker. We both love espresso and trying out different kinds of coffee beans and the brera has been very reliable, quiet (!) and useful. We bought it for £600 so it might be worth shopping around a little!"
