"The coffee is just as good as any cup you’ll get in a coffee house"
The DeLonghi Dolce Gusto Circolo has a unique and futuristic design. As the name suggests, it has a circular shape and looks like it belongs on a space ship. You’ll be certain to get attention and it adds a touch of class to your kitchen.
The DeLonghi Dolce Gusto Circolo is obviously a very attractive machine, and as most capsule based coffee machines it does produce delicious coffee. The height adjustable drip tray means you can use cups in different shapes and sizes, so no need to purchase special cups.
The Circolo also has a removable water tank, making it easy to fill, and the ThermoBlock technology ensures your coffee is always made with fresh water, served piping hot. One of the downsides with this coffee machine is that there is no temperature control, which could be a little inconvenient if you like your coffee a certain temperature.
Another rather annoying feature is the vibration the machine makes whilst producing your coffee. Avoid using glass mugs as they might shatter! But with quality coffee in 45 seconds, we can’t really complain.
It comes with a 15 bar water pressure system, which by now is pretty standard in the industry. It’s the same as what you find in most coffee shops, and combined with the pods, the coffee is just as good as any cup you’ll get in a coffee house.
Although a little bit larger in size, the Delonghi Dolce Gusto Circolo is very similar to the Krups KP5006 Circolo Dolce Gusto, making it hard to choose between the two.
The DeLonghi Dolce Gusto Circolo isn't much different from other 15 bar pressure machines, but it definitely produces great coffee. If you're looking for a machine with great design, this could be the right one for you.
