The Krups German kitchen appliance creator was founded by Robert Krups back in 1846 when he first made scales and industrial balances.
Following post war economic boom in Germany, Krups made the move into the consumer electronics market, first with a mixing machine, and then in 1961 with the ONKO coffee grinder.
In 1963 Krups released its first line of coffee machines and to this date proves itself to be “a brand dedicated to precision and technical perfection.”
Krups employs 3000 people in four German factories in Solingen and Offenbach am Main and one in Limerick, Ireland. Coffee machines are the company’s biggest selling appliance.
